Donut Maker

One of my favorite childhood memories was making donuts on a weekend morning in our donut maker (ie waffle maker that pressed things in a shape of a donut).  My sister, brother and I all got donut makers for Xmas, so I thought it was time to pass on the family tradition.  Complete with powdered sugar frosting which daddy tinted blue in honor of the Jayhawks and lots and lots of sprinkles, we enjoyed some homemade donuts (then ran around like crazy children from the sugar high)!
