We took in the USA Gymnastics Night at the Pacers game a couple weeks ago. The kids got to try out all types of gymnastics activities, and had a ball. Then, we all took in our first pro basketball game (or at least the first half of it). It was tons of fun, and the kids had a great time.
E of course had to do everything that big brother and sister were doing - thus she worked on her arm and ab stregnth :)
G got to see her favorite olympian, Bridget Sloan, as well as the Pacers mascot. E would have nothing to do with Bridget until the "Scary Tat" went away.
"No wike Scary Tat".
K's favorite activity was the obstacle course - mostly because it was timed. He ran it about 15 times, each time trying to beat his earlier score. I wonder where on earth he got his competitive streak from?
(hmmm? daddy?)
Now, we wouldn't tell K straight out, but his twin sister pretty much kicked his tush on all the arm and ab stregnth activities. Amazing how 1 hour a week of gymnastics has made her so strong. K still thinks the reason she can out push-up him is because he is 6 pounds heavier, not that she is buff-er than he is!
