Rookie Run 2011

Little late in posting our Rookie Run pics, but I had to get them loaded off my phone.  The run actually happened about a month ago in the midst of a nice cold rainy spring day.  We braved the stinky weather so our little tracksters could race.  Compared to last year, when it was 90 degrees and miserable, we all decided a cold rainy day was much preferred.  The kids had a great time and experienced their first "run no matter the weather" race, which made their mommy proud!

 Lining up for the start, G decided to hang out in the back of the pack with her buddy from school.  Kman was front and center on the starting line.

 Can you tell who is a little more intense about the race?????  Guess who he gets his competitive gene from? Lets just say his mom doesn't time how long it takes her to mow the lawn, but another adult in the house does.......

 The best part of the stinky weather was that the "Kids Day" activities weren't that busy, so we got to check out lots more this year than we did last year.
