We had a never-ending Halloween extravanganza here at the Johnson household.
We started our Halloween festivities with our neighborhood Halloween parade....thanks to some mad seamstress skills by grandma we were able to make fun of ourselves a bit by dressing up as a vegetable garden complete with 2 peas in a pod, a carrot, green pepper, tomato and farmers. Note the "Miracle Grow" sign on L's hat - thanks Aunt T for the idea. We got lots of giggles from our neighbors.
K was very tolerant of the tomato costume - not the coolest thing for a 6 year old boy to be wearing around the 'hood in front of his buddies. I'm afraid the tomato pics might reappear when he's 17 and brings his first girlfriend over.....
Halloween night we got all gussied up in our "Costumes of Choice", ready for a big night out of candy gathering. The cookie, carrot, and cowboy were ready for a good time...
E made it about a block before she started to tire out. Once she found a sucker in her bag, she was pretty much content to walk slowly with daddy and enjoy the treat.
Overall, it was a great couple days. Now mom and dad are just trying to avoid eating all the candy while the kids aren't around!
