Colombus, IN

Over spring break, we headed an hour south to Columbus, IN with 3 other families.  It was 4 moms and 12 kids - and that's with T and C staying home with daddy that day. We were completely outnumbered, so I'm not sure what we were thinking.

First stop was the Columbus Children's Museum.  Small, quaint, and full of cool things to do.
K found some stuff to build right away, while G and E hit the arts and crafts area.

Then it was on to the campsite and garden play area for E while K tried his hand at the giant claw.

After that, we headed to the giant size replica of a house, complete with an enormous.........

Toilet

K and G headed down the commode slide numerous times.  Even after a half hour of cajoling - E still insisted, "Dats disgusting" and refused to experience the fun.
But, she did enjoy the bubbles.....

After that, we walked across the street to find this......

and immediately went to town.....

 It was awesome..

And then if life couldn't get any better, we headed back across the street to the circa 1890's Ice Cream parlor where 11 of the 12 kids bellied up to the bar....
Yep....all those kids were with us....
And ordered some mighty tasty treats...

Columbus, IN = 4 exhausted moms, 12 tired and happy kids, and 1 good time for all!
